I'm finally posting some of my new stuff,  been delving into digital painting and really enjoying it. Why did I resist photoshop for so long? Stubborn stupidity I suppose, but hey, that's easily mended... with a few years of practice practice practice and trial and error attempts (online tutorials are gibberish!)

Too hot to go outside, I've taken to sleeping in the day and wandering around the city at night; not good habits for creating art, I require sunny mornings to function properly, and I've been sleeping through those for awhile now...maybe all of this will turn into something.

my comic is going so sloooooow

  it's gone! all of it, the 5000 yen's worth of candy, cakes, cookies and gummy snacks I packed my bloated suitcase full of the day before we left Japan.
   Now, all the goodies have been eaten and pooped away...and I am surrounded by the colorful wrappings that remain...

I finally put my sculptures on here. I think my gallery is kind-of lop-sided. Maybe I should start a separate Deviant ID that's not...Saiyuki related. Then again, why in the hell would I want to do that?

I should warn the other passengers on the ski-lifts that I haven't perfected getting off yet, but I like to leave it a suprise when I take a few down with me.
or I let them get off, and wait too long, then I have to jump while it's turning around and that scares the lift attendants, it's pretty...funny.

I'm at Mom's cabin, in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
'glad I'm not in Nebraska, they had a really bad ice storm; It knocked out the power in our town for a few days; the ice was so thick that telephone poles were breaking under the weight it on the wires, lots of trees are virtually limbless b/c the ice's weight snapped them to pieces and there were several car pile-ups on the innerstate because it is so slick.  
HAHAHAHAHaha but I'm here in Colorado, and the weather is very nice.
Nothing like fresh snow as a clean slate for the new year.

I waited till the last minute to do everything.
I couldn't even get all my sculptures and crap up the hill from school to my apartment, so i had to drop off 3 bags of clay in an allie just so i could push it the rest of the way. Those crazy shoppers were swarming all over the sidewalk like deliberate obsticles, and one of my sculptures smashed going over a bump. ARGHHHH!!!
THIS sculpture MAJOR SUCKS!!!!!!! it's not worth it, im glad i won't be dependant on my sculptures to survive 'cause id kill myself and all those around me real fast-like.

got home, then i ran to staples with alllllll my 2-d art and made copies to put some portfolios together for my parents 'cause i didn't get them any REAL gifts. when i got back, I tried to clean my room, find a spot for the new sculptures, put the book together and get packed all at the same time.
Mark came over and we had a picnic in the livingroom to celebrate the end of semester, WAHOOO!!! that was fun, we watched Beautiful bOXER, ate salami an cheese and drank wine till things got woozy (just for me).  the movie is excellent, then he went to work and i fell asleep 'cause I was in no condition to get stuff done, woke up at 2 to finish packing and all that.
SOMEHOW i got done just in time to hop a bart to the airport and fly home which went fine till i got to Denver, as you may know, it had been closed down for days, there were crowds everywhere of angry families and people sleeping in phone booths or against the walls 'cause all their flights were cancelled. my flight was 3 hours delayd (im just glad it got there) and then, it was too heavy to take off! they said we either had to dump some baggage, or somebody had to get off! (it was only a 30 passenger plane) 2 ladies volunteered to get their luggage tomarrow, so we were saved, but a little nervous about the flight. Anyway, i got there fine and everything else went great.
so that's my Christmas adventure!!

I kept running into immoble objects and people today and singing outload what I thought was just in my head. The people all seemed very alien and apart from me, I just want to sit and watch them. This week has been one long dream. I should be stressed, I have no time, but somehow... this moment is zen
I want nothing but to be with my friends, and they are right here!
